Why is actual weight not enough for an air freight quote?
Chargeable weight may be based on a comparison of actual and volumetric weight. The conversion factor, rounding and minimum charges depend on the service, so individual packed dimensions are needed.
Can battery-powered products be booked as general cargo?
The product name alone is not enough. Provide battery type, whether it is installed or packed with equipment, quantities and supporting documents so transport and packaging conditions can be checked.
How does airport-to-airport differ from door delivery?
Airport-to-airport transport does not automatically include destination clearance, airport collection or final delivery. A door-delivery quote must also specify these services and responsibility for duties and taxes.
Service notes
Routing, acceptance and expected transport arrangements are confirmed after cargo review. Flight operations, screening, customs and destination handling can affect delivery timing.
